A car stranded on the A67 near Eersel last night. The car’s clutch was broken. A road inspector from Rijkswaterstaat saw the car and arranged a recovery company. He took the car with him. The children in the car wrote a sweet thank you note on paper for the road inspector, complete with a ‘diamond’. “That’s what you do it for,” the road inspector says.
