Four fire platoons are busy fighting the large nature reserve De Peel. Two of these come from Brabant. The other two are Limburgish. A fire fighting helicopter, a drone team and the hand crew from Overijssel have also been called up.
The fire is still spreading in the direction of our province. About two hectares of nature have now been lost.
