A taxi bus on Sparrenlaan in Heerhugowaard was destroyed by fire last night. The fire was reported around 4 am. Shortly before that, local residents would have heard a loud bang and a horn. The fire brigade managed to prevent other vehicles, but the van was badly damaged. It is still unclear how the fire started.
