Utrecht – An 11-year-old girl was stabbed in the Anemoonstraat in Nieuwegein on Saturday. First aid was provided on the street, but in the course of the afternoon the message came that she died of her injuries. Not far from the crime scene in a residential area, a suspect of 29 years was arrested, according to the Utrecht police. Local residents say they have been worried about the man for some time.
