Styles mania apparently knows no limits anymore. The UK website of ticket giant Ticketmaster collapsed on Tuesday (January 27, 2026). There are now additional dates in Amsterdam and London. Madison Square Garden in New York has also increased its already extensive series of events between August and October. So far, so fascinating.
Does this have anything to do with pop music?
The new single “Aperture” as the first release from the upcoming Styles album in no way justifies the worldwide superlative hype. A strangely indecisive fusion of late Duran Duran and producer Kid Harpoon’s beat clatter.
But fans don’t seem to care at all, even if they have to stay in digital queues at number 27,986. There are also signs of a massive attack on their bank accounts.
Amsterdam: 600 to 1000 euros per person
Initial, admittedly still speculative calculations for a Styles show in Amsterdam, which can be reached relatively cheaply from northern and western Germany by train or Flixbus, cost 600 to 1000 euros. Due to the high demand in May, which is already the peak season for the Dutch tourism hotspot, you can expect to pay at least 250 to 500 euros extra, depending on how you arrive. For one person, mind you.
Our check for January and February still showed a lot of free capacity in the cheap hostel segment, but that will quickly change from spring onwards. And noble buyers of VIP packages, which currently cost up to 828 euros for the Johan Cruyff Arena, will hardly want to spend the night in a stoned “sleep in” with bunk beds and a barracks washroom.
London: high-price bonanza all year round
You can travel to London from North Rhine-Westphalia with the Eurostar, which currently doesn’t cost the earth for early bookers. However, the longer you wait, the more expensive it becomes. The same applies to flights to Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted. Once you arrive in the city of 8 to 10 million, things become critical.
London is a year-round high-price bonanza. Regular tickets here currently cost between 73 and 725 pounds, although the Ticketmaster robot has already announced that the cheap categories are more or less OVER and OUT. Anyone who knows the hotel, restaurant and beer-in-pub prices on the Thames should speak to their savings bank advisor as a precaution.
We then stopped our research for New York, Sydney or even São Paulo. From a Harry Styles point of view, these long-term destinations are something for visitors to the Düsseldorf trade fair “Boot”, where luxury yachts are currently doing well.
