10 years in prison for attempted assassination of Argentine ex-president Kirchner

Sabag Montiel, the man who tried to assassinate former Argentine President Cristina Kirchner three years ago, has been sentenced to ten years in prison. He pulled the trigger during a demonstration, but the gun did not fire. His former partner was jailed for eight years for her role in planning the attack.
