The Kortrijk police carried out a check this morning between 7:30 am and 8:30 am along the Zwevegemsestraat. At that time, about 266 cyclists and e-scooters passed the checkpoint. Of these, no fewer than 73 had no lighting. Depending on their age, they will either receive a fine (from 16 years of age) or an invitation to the traffic class (under 16 years of age).
