In February 2021, Christian Titz took over as coach at 1. FC Magdeburg. At this point, the traditional club was deep in the relegation battle of the 3rd league. But the former HSV head coach managed to turn things around and led the Elbstadt team back to the 2nd Bundesliga. Now the 53-year-old could take on a new challenge.
