Julian Krahl is the undisputed number one in the goal at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, so far has not missed a single minute in the 2nd Bundesliga. After the narrow 1-0 away win of his Palatinate on Saturday evening at Hertha BSC, the goalkeeper now raised the alarm – despite the fourth success.
Twelve points from the last four games: After the victories against Ulm, Fürth, Münster and Hertha BSC, the bare numbers clearly speak for 1. FC Kaiserslautern, which is in the middle of the promotion race in the 2nd Bundesliga.
If the red devils want to rank in the third place in the table for as long as possible, an early increase in performance in the playful area is necessary. This view recently represented at least goalkeeper Julian Krahl, who had stayed without conceding for the sixth time in the away season in Berlin.
“If we continue to play like this, we will not be successful,” the 25-year-old was quoted in the “SWR”. Krahl thus alluded to that there is still a lot of improvement potential in the creative area and in developing its own goal opportunities.
Kaiserslautern has a guest on Saturday Hannover 96
At the same time, Krahl called for himself and his teammates to keep the full focus and the necessary greed: “We have to continue to work hard and develop ourselves – just like all other teams. But I think we are on the right track.”
Since the return of 2022, the 1st FCK is currently playing its third season again in the German football sub-house. After the places nine and 13 in the first two years, fans around the Betzenberg now dream of returning to first class.
The next ridge knife will follow next Saturday with the home game against Hannover 96.
