The 1. FC Kaiserslautern has succeeded in the commitment of the offensive midfielder Naatan Skyttä. For the transfer of the 23-year-old from the French second division club Usl Dunkerque, the red devils afford a transfer as in Bundesliga times. “BILD” named a basic amount of 1.8 million euros, which can grow to 2 million euros with bonuses. In this way, Skyttä initially joins tenth place in the most expensive approaches of the Lautrer, but could still climb a rank and unlock to Ariel Borysiuk, for which the FCK last spent so much money. The Pole was signed for 2 million euros in January 2012 when it came to staying in the upper house.
“We are pleased that we were able to convince Naatan from the FCK,” said sports director Marcel Klos. “With him, we gain a technically strong, flexible and threatening offensive midfielder, who has already gained a lot of experience on an international parquet at a young age. He has already demonstrated in his previous stations.
Skyttä emphasized: “The fans actually played a major role in my decision. I saw videos, the atmosphere, the stadium, that was incredibly impressive. In addition, there are the good conversations that I had with the people responsible. I identify myself with the goals that the club has set. The FCK stands for tradition. I have the feeling that it is the right decision to take the next step in my career.”
Skyttä, who was the best goal scorer and the second best scorer at Dunkerque with eight goals and five templates, would also be the most expensive purchase of all second division clubs this summer with the overall package. With the basic revenge, it is in second place behind Jonas Thermelsen, who also approached the 2-mio. brand for the Holstein Kiel (to the previous top transfers of the 2nd Bundesliga 2025/26).
