It was a rollercoaster for vloggers Gio Latooy (26) and Lynn Hermanussen (22). Their first child, a son, was born on Thursday. The little boy will have his own ‘ballroom’ in their multi-million dollar villa in Sint Willebrord, but the pregnancy was not exactly reminiscent of a fairy tale.
The good news came after a number of exciting days for the vlogging couple. The last video of the two ended with a lot of stress due to pregnancy complications for Lynn. Fans remained in suspense for a long time and made their own videos on TikTok, speculating about what could be going on. On Sunday the couple came with good news: their son was born: Mexx Jack Latooy.

Preeclampsia
The last few months have not been easy for the couple. And not for the almost 1.4 million subscribers, who followed everything closely and participated, like in a reality soap. Lynn had extremely low blood pressure during her pregnancy, which caused her to faint frequently. Recently she fell forward in the kitchen and hit her head and probably also her stomach on the hard tiles. Gio drove her, while filming, to the hospital, where it turned out that she was fine.
In the days before the birth, Lynn retained a lot of fluid and her blood pressure was very high. She was on medication for this, because she turned out to have pre-eclampsia. Mother and son are now doing well, according to the parents’ social media channels. “We love you so much and are very curious about where the future will take the three of us,” they write on Instagram.
