The soccer players from Eintracht Frankfurt have had to put up with a severe setback in the fight for the Champions League places. The Hessians clearly lost their home game on Saturday against VfL Wolfsburg 1:4 (0:4).

The Wolfsburg women were the more active team from the start and quickly rewarded themselves. Wolfsburg’s Jill Roord converted an attack from the right into the corner from close range, but was lucky because the ball was still deflected.

0:4 at the break

VfL didn’t give up, in the 14th minute Lena Lattwein headed in from a corner to make it 2-0. Again Roord with a header after a free kick from the right (26th) and Pauline Bremer with a header with the half-time whistle already set the clock to 0:4 at the break.
