AZ – Quick Boys: 1-1
It took a while, but at the end of the first half the game started to live. For AZ there is work to be done in view of the 1-1 equal position.
A great attack by Quick Boys and Patrick Brouwer pops in.
Jayden Addai takes the ball off a Quick Boys defender and shoots nicely inside.
Finally a chance for the home team, but the use of Jayden Addai is not good.
AZ is sloppy and that does not make trainer Maarten Martens happy. He can regularly be found on the sidelines to give instructions.
The opening phase is on it. Quick Boys has the ball more often now, but both teams have not yet created anything.
The home team has the ball, but there have not been any opportunities yet.
The ball rolls in the match between AZ and Quick Boys
AZ is not allowed to take supporters to the match with SC Heerenveen on 2 March. Mayor Avine Fokkens of the Frisian place has decided that after earlier incidents in the game. Heerenveen is afraid that AZ fans will still take a seat on the home ribunes and has tightened the rules for ticket sales.
Club card holders are not allowed to buy tickets for the game. Only people with a season ticket can buy a maximum of two extra tickets. “To guarantee the safety of their own supporters, SC Heerenveen chooses this tightened form of ticket sales,” the club writes on the website.
Last January Heerenveen – AZ (2-2) was stopped after five minutes after fireworks had been thrown on the field from the branch. A season earlier the home supporters were the perpetrator.
