It’s midnight and that means the transfer period is finally over!

The deal between Nottingham Forest and Ajax for Chuba Akpom has been canceled, reports say The Telegraph. The Amsterdam team has also rejected the second offer for the striker, who would have liked to be loaned to the Premier League club.

AZ has already made quite a move on the transfer market this afternoon. Lequincio Zeefuik came to Alkmaar and Jens Odgaard was loaned to Bologna. In Alkmaar everything is still ready for a last-minute transfer, but as yet there are no signs for a new player. “Of course, the 12 is not yet in the clock,” says an AZ spokesperson.

Brian Plat can make the switch abroad. The central defender of FC Volendam is in the interest of New York City FC, Watford and Sampdoria. Plat has indicated that he does not want to leave in this transfer window. In any case, he will fight against relegation with FC Volendam until the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest wants to acquire Chuba Akpom from Ajax before the transfer market closes. The English have made an initial offer of 15 million euros according to The Telegraph. The Amsterdammers came with a quick counter offer of 17 million euros. In addition, Nottingham Forest wants to rent the striker with an option to buy. This would automatically take place for a certain number of matches. Ajax wants that down and also wants a purchase obligation if Nottingham Forest is relegated from the Premier League.

Anass Salah-Eddine has arrived at the Grolsch Veste and is about to complete his transfer to FC Twente. The 22-year-old Ajax player already played on loan for the Tukkers last year. At FC Twente, a contract is ready for Salah-Eddine until mid-2027. Ajax would receive an amount of approximately 1 million euros.

The transfer market closes at 00:00 tonight. What can the North Holland clubs still do in the transfer market? FC Volendam and Telstar have announced that no more players will be recruited. There may still be some things going on at AZ and Ajax. Keep following it in our live blog!

No more transfers will take place at FC Volendam today, director Frans ten Berge said NH Sports. That means that The New Orangeno longer enters the market with the money it receives for Lequincio Zeefuik. FC Volendam therefore leaves it with the two mercenaries from Udinese. Last week it took over Alex Guessand and Vivaldo Semedo on loan from the Italian club

Xavier Mbuyamba is in the interest of FC Utrecht, reports the AD. The captain of FC Volendam must make the departed Modibo Sagnan forget in the cathedral city. Mbuyamba already seemed close to a transfer to Sampdoria last summer. The Italians then offered 2.3 million euros, but Volendam did not want to let him go.

Myron Boadu is about to finish the season at FC Twente. His old trainer Pascal Jansen, who was fired from AZ last month, thinks it is a good choice. “Yesterday he let me know that he hoped things would be resolved quickly with Twente,” Jansen says Football International. “He also contacted me after the decision was made about my retirement from AZ. It shows what kind of bond we have and what kind of boy Myron is.”

Jansen worked with Boadu for some time. He has high expectations of the 23-year-old attacker and thinks he can be a success at FC Twente. “In the Eredivisie he has shown that he can become an exceptional player.”

PEC Zwolle rents Silvester van de Water from SC Cambuur until the end of the season. The 27-year-old footballer from Blaricum therefore makes the step from the first division to the premier league. Van de Water played as a youth player at SDO from Bussum and then moved to Almere City, where he made his debut in professional football.
