Good day and welcome to our live blog! It is of course the day of the classic between Ajax and Feyenoord, but there is plenty of other regional top sport. So don’t miss anything in our live blog. Tips? Mail to [email protected]

Last: Ajax – Feyenoord 2-1
Started: Willem II – AZ 0-2

Listen to the extra long radio broadcast via the stream below.

David Møller Wolfe cuts in and shoots on the post on the right. It is already the third time that AZ has hit the post and the ball came on the bar before.

Kyan Vaesen shoots the ball from a promising position in Jeroen Zoet.

The ball rolls again in Tilburg. Can AZ boost the score after the break?

Diant Ramaj makes the crossing from Ajax to Borussia Dortmund, says Voetbal International. There would be 5 million euros in the switch from the Amsterdam reserve goalkeeper.

Ramaj was brought to Amsterdam a year and a half ago by technical director Sven and initially had a lot of playing time. This season, however, he is a reserve keeper. Display is nowadays sporting director at Dortmund. Yet the two are not immediately reunited; Ramaj will be rented out to FC Copenhagen for the next six months.

The first half in Tilburg is a thing of the past. It is 2-0 in favor of AZ by goals from Troy Parrott and Sven Mijnans.

Sven Mijnans makes the second of the evening. After good pressure from Mayckel Lahdo, he can hand over the ball to Mijnans, who simply taps the goal.

Troy Parrott scores the opening goal from the penalty spot. Just before that, Amar Fatah Jayden Addai, which means that Parrott can score.

Troy Parrott has the greatest chance in Tilburg so far. The Irish plant the ball on the post, after which Sven Mijnans heads the ball through a defender.

The men of HC Amsterdam beat Den Bosch for the national title in the hall. It will be 12-5.

Sam Bisschop and Thomas Selles are both important with three goals each. It is for the eleventh time in history that Amsterdam is the best in the hall.

The korfball players of Blauw-Wit have again managed to win a topper in the Korfball League. The Amsterdammers beat the Delftse Fortuna with 24-23. Blauw-Wit won 23-21 against PKC last week.

Due to the victories, the korfball players are celebrating in the Korfball League with one point less than LDODK (15) and two less than Fortuna (16).

After the 2-1 victory over Feyenoord, Ajax now has fewer losses than leader PSV. The Eindhoven team played 3-3 at NEC last night. Ajax has 48 points and PSV 50, but one match less played.

The Johan Cruijff Arena explodes after the last whistle! The supporters of Ajax celebrate after the late victory over Feyenoord. Due to the 2-1 win, the difference with PSV has been reduced to two points.

Ajax still takes the lead against Feyenoord. Anton Gaeei gives the ball ahead of Kenneth Taylor and he is sliding inside. What a good time to score!

Taylor is being changed for Daniele Rugani.

Will Ajax succeed in scoring or is Feyenoord still winning? There are still eight minutes to play.

Wout Weghorst heads the ball well and Christian Rasmussen is steaming towards the Feyenoord goal. His shot, however, lacks strength and conviction.

Can Ajax still cross the line? It remains extremely exciting.

A cross from Youri Reigner is headed on the post by Christian Rasmussen.

Anis Hadj-Moussa is completely free and storms on Remko Pasveer. However, the goalkeeper saves his commitment in a grandiose way. It remains unprecedentedly exciting in the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Wout Weghorst himself stands behind the ball and leaves an excellent opportunity to help Ajax with the lead. Timon Wellenreuther turns his penalty. Shame.

Wout Weghorst is knocked out by David Hancko, who gets yellow. The VAR is still busy watching the images and remains behind the decision of referee Danny Makkelie.

Christian Rasmussen is played and releases the ball on Wout Weghorst. He has seas from time and space, but shoots at Timon Wellenreuther. It doesn’t matter, because Rasmussen is sidelined for that.

Youri reign (first minutes are return) and Christian Rasmussen come in. Steven Berghuis and Bertrand Traoré go to the side.

Remko Pasveer can save twice on shots from Quinten Timber and a rebound from Antoni Milambo. The ball is then not properly concealed and Timber shoots the ball into the goal …

Ajax now has a hard time against Feyenoord. Quinten Timber puts Josip Sutalo in the Luren and tries to shoot towards Remko Pasveer, but his shot is blocked. Just before that, the Rotterdammers were also dangerous via Igor Paixao.

After a one-two with Wout Weghorst, Steven Berghuis fires a cannonball. The deployment is high. The first dangerous moment of the team from Amsterdam in a long time.

Davy Klaassen receives applause from the Ajax audience and is being replaced by Kian Fitz-Jim.

Quinten Timber (Oud-Ajax) and Givairo Read (Oud-FC Volendam) enter the field at Feyenoord.

Jordan Henderson conquers the ball in his own half and steams towards Feyenoord goal. The Brit gives off on Bertrand Traoré. The attacker shoots very wildly and the ball goes next to the goal.

In the counterattack, Antoni Milambo shoots the ball straight on Pasveer. The game now waves up and down.

Hugo Bueno can give the ball undisturbed twice for the goal. During the second attempt, the ball remains in the penalty area after poorly eliminating Jorrel Hato. Bart Nieuwkoop shoots the ball full on Remko Pasveer.

One change at Ajax. Wout Weghorst stands out for Brian Brobbey. A striking choice, since the striker scored again.

Weghorst immediately founded the necessary danger to his raid with a good walking action. He fails face to face with Timon Wellenreuther and the German remains injured. Wellenreuther can continue after injury treatment.

The first half is on the Johan Cruijff Arena. Ajax leads 1-0 through a goal from Brian Brobbey. See you!

Ajax has just under two minutes to expand the score in the first half.

Now Bertrand Traoré heads the ball up close to the bar. Ajax is in a nice phase just before the break.

After a good action by Jorrel Hato, Steven Berghuis shoots hard at goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther, after which Brian Brobbey scores. The VAR must look for a long time, but approves it!

Ajax is not yet able to hold the ball in the front for a longer period of time. As a result, Feyenoord can play football more and more in the competition to the discontent from the public.

Anis Hadj-Moussa Dribbelt inside and takes it out. Remko Pasveer, who plays his 300th league duel from his career, ticks the ball next to the goal.

Ajax gives little away and creates opportunities. As is often the case this season under Francesco Farioli. Feyenoord has nothing to say so far, although it is important that Ajax will take advantage of the opportunities.

Bertrand Traoré falls in the penalty area due to Dávid Hancko. Referee Danny Makkelie judges quickly and waves it away.

Brian Brobbey goes deep after a good pass from Jordan Henderson. However, the striker is offside and is flagged, while Timon Wellenreuther was far from his goal.

Mika Godts is injured and Victor Edvardsen is also not yet deployable (registered too late). The big question was who would be left winger. The opening phase shows that that place has been reserved for Steven Berghuis.

Youri Baas is knocked out, after which Ajax gets a free kick in a dangerous position. Anton Gaaei (last year’s Schlemiel) shoots the ball in the hands of Timon Wellenreuther.

After the victory over Galatasaray Midweek, it was mainly about the captain Jordan Henderson. The Brit had given the band to Remko Pasveer because he “didn’t want to talk to the media.” Henderson is associated with a switch to the French top club AS Monaco in the media.

Steven Berghuis tries to pass Timon Wellenreuther, but the German saves feline.

The ball rolls in the arena! Can Ajax win the classic?

Ajax has the least loss points of all clubs in the Eredivisie, after PSV’s draw against NEC (3-3) on Saturday. The club from Amsterdam defends a nine points lead over Feyenoord. With a victory on the Rotterdammers, the difference between Ajax and PSV is reduced to two points.

In three weeks Ajax will still have the home match against Go Ahead Eagles ahead. That duel was canceled last week in connection with the last group match in the Europa League.

In the earlier classic this season, the two goals were scored by Jorrel Hato and Kenneth Taylor. Hato (18 years and 237 days) became the youngest Ajax player with a goal in the classic since Viktor Fischer on January 20, 2013.

Remko Pasveer will play his three hundredth match in the Eredivisie. The 41-year-old goalkeeper debuted almost 21 years ago, on March 28, 2004, for FC Twente at FC Groningen.

Welcome to our live blog on the day of the classic. Don’t miss anything of this competition and the other regional top sport.
