Former player Antony has filed an arbitration case against Ajax. The Brazilian attacker does not agree with fines he has received from the Amsterdam club, a spokesperson for the KNVB arbitration committee confirms.
The arbitration case was already heard in Zeist last Monday. Ajax is said to have imposed fines on Antony in August 2022. The Brazilian was then awaiting a transfer to Manchester United and did not understand why the club from Amsterdam did not agree to the amount that the English top club wanted to pay for him.
Antony missed some training sessions and a league match against Sparta. Ultimately, Ajax agreed to a transfer fee of almost 100 million euros for the winger who gets little playing time at United and can look for another club.
