Zidane: “Future in Italy? Why not”

In Rome for the presentation of the documentary “Now I win” on Marcello Lippi: “I would like another time on the bench”

It’s the day of the release of Marcello Lippi’s biographical documentary “Now I Win” and many of his former players have arrived in Rome to take part in the event. Starting from Zinedine Zidane, who paid homage to his former coach on Sky’s microphones: “He was my coach, above all he made me come to Juve – these are the words on Sky’s microphones -. He is the first who believed in me and who made me play, because in the end it wasn’t easy for him. So for me he was not only my coach, but the one who made me become who I am.”

Zidane also spoke of a possible arrival in Italy: “Future in Italy, why not? Anything can happen. Now I’m doing other things, let’s see, but I’m sure I’d like another time on the bench”. Among the guests of the evening there is also Igor Tudor, also linked by a relationship of esteem with the former Italian coach: “He has always been serious in his work, right in his choices. In my way of coaching there is a lot of he”.

“Now I Win” by Simone Herbert Paragnani and Paolo Geremei, the docufilm on Marcello Lippi, will be in theaters from today to February 28th.
