In the sixth and last match of the 2027 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers B League 2nd Group, the Women’s National Team will face Malta on the evening of June 9 at the MFA Centenary Stadium at 20:00 CET.

SECOND PLACE AND PLAY-OFF GUARANTEE

The Crescent-Stars started the qualifying group by defeating Malta 3-0 and beat Northern Ireland 1-0 away in the second match. The Nationals lost 3-1 away to Switzerland and drew 1-1 with their opponent in Istanbul. Milller increased its points to 10 by beating Northern Ireland 2-1 at home in the last match of the group. With this victory, the Women’s A National Team, which secured the second place in the group and gained the right to play in the play-offs, aims to close the group stage in high spirits by winning against Malta.

Sabina Bolic from the Croatian Football Federation will manage the match. Bolic’s assistants will be Sanja Rodjak-Karsic and Maja Petravi. The fourth referee of the match will be Ivana Martini.

THE DRAW WILL BE IN NYON ON JUNE 18

The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup European Qualifications play-off first round draw will take place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon on 18 June. The first round matches, which will be played according to the double-elimination method, will be held between 5-13 October. The teams that pass this round will advance to the second round play-off stage.

In the other last week match in the nationals’ group, Northern Ireland will host Switzerland.
