The goalkeeper of the Russian football club Krylya Sovetov Yevgeny Frolov made quite a revelation.
Frolov, 35, told a Russian news website Championatin that he brought a grenade to the team’s training.
– Somehow I took the flash grenade to Sovetov’s training. It was plastic, cost 500 rubles. You can buy it at the store. You pull the trigger, throw and it explodes with light. It is usually harmless. But when people see a grenade, they get shocked. Especially when it’s in the goalkeeper’s hands. Anyway, I threw one in before practice and laughed. It was fun, Frolov told Championat.
The purpose of a flash grenade is to paralyze the target, not to kill. It can cause hearing loss, bleeding from the ears and temporary blindness.
Frolov said he gave one of those to his teammate Oleksandr Kovalenkowho however did not want to pull the plug.

Frolov has played in several different club teams in Russia during his career.
