In the previous provincial elections, the VVD was the largest party with 10 seats. Forum for Democracy then won 9 seats, the CDA 8.
The turnout in Brabant was 52.2 percent in 2019. Our province therefore had the dubious honor of having the lowest turnout in the Netherlands.
