Two young children were hit by a scooter rider in Bergen op Zoom on Friday afternoon. That happened on the Zuivelstraat in the shopping area in the center of the city.
Around ten past four, the driver hit the children while driving. Two ambulances were rushed to Zuivelstraat. A child had to be taken to hospital. The other also went with the ambulance.
Officers recorded the driver’s statement. He only had to be checked by paramedics himself. An investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.
