Men’s Kata National Team athlete Sofuoğlu, who won the gold medal in the European Karate Championship held at Şahinbey Sports Hall in Gaziantep, stated that he was very happy to represent Turkey in the Men’s Kata, and said, “We won two gold medals here, both individually and as a team. Last year, we became the European champion both individually and as a team. I had such a dream. I am very happy that I achieved my goals. It was a very good match. Men’s Kata National Team athlete Emre Vefa Göktaş said that he continues his life as both a Physical Education Teacher and a karate player.
Stating that he started sports at a young age thanks to his father, Göktaş said, “I want to become a world champion in the future. I continue to work. Thank you to everyone who supported us.
