Tractor catches fire in Veurne

The driver of the tractor was still able to park his vehicle on the side of the road when he noticed smoke, but he was unable to extinguish the fire himself. The fire brigade first extinguished the fire with water, but switched to extinguishing foam because the leaking hydraulic oil continued to burn.

The fire brigade of Veurne turned out for the first time with the new car pump truck. Due to the extinguishing works, the Bulskampstraat was closed on both sides for a while.
