The 2024/2025 biathlon season is in full swing. When are the dates of the World Cup races? When will the ski hunters be visiting Germany? At sport.de you can find all the information about the biathlon calendar.
Can Lisa Vittozzi and Johannes Thingnes Bø each defend the Great Crystal Ball? Who is pushing towards world leadership? And how will the German athletes fare in the coming winter? The answer to these and more questions has been sought since November 30th. The World Cup winter started in the Finnish winter sports stronghold Kontiolahti.
The biathlon team will then travel to Hochfilzen in Austria (December 13th to 15th) before heading to Annecy-Le Grand-Bornand (December 19th to 22nd) in France before Christmas.
German biathlon fans should definitely note the following dates. After the turn of the year, the home game in Oberhof (January 9th to 12th) is on the agenda. It should be no less atmospheric in Ruhpolding (January 15th to 19th).
The 2025 Biathlon World Championships will take place in Lenzerheide
This will be followed by the World Cup dress rehearsal in Antholz, Italy (January 23rd to 26th). The World Championship will take place in Lenzerheide for the first time next season. The biathlon festival takes place in Switzerland from February 12th to 23rd.
In the final spurt of the season we go to Nove Mesto/Czech Republic (6th to 9th March), Pokljuka/Slovenia (13th to 16th March) and finally to Oslo/Norway (21st to 23rd March).
