Taylor Swift: This is how she speaks out after “The Eras” tour ends

If you don’t check the reference, you’re definitely not a Swiftie.

On December 8th, Taylor Swift’s 21-month “The Eras” tour ended in Vancouver, Canada. Now the US singer spoke out on Instagram with a statement remembering her musical journey. Of course, fans immediately recognized the reference in her lines.

“It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well”

“It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well,” wrote the “Fortnight” interpreter on December 11th in an Instagram post, to which she included many pictures of her concerts. Including some photos with her background dancers and from her tour duet with Gracie Abrams.

The 34-year-old chose the words in the caption very consciously – because they come from her song “All Too Well”, which can be found on her 2012 record RED. These are lines that many fans have sung to her several times at shows and with which many who attended the pop star’s gigs can identify only too well.

“The Eras” tour = “whole life”.

At a June show, the 34-year-old revealed that the extensive tour had now become her “whole life”. And further: “I used to have hobbies, but I don’t remember what they were. All I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear.”

A touching farewell in Vancouver

But after all the touring, she has now reached the end of her gig journey – she celebrated the finale at the beginning of December with her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift. On the first evening of her three-day concert series in Vancouver, she fell into their arms after their show.

In her gratitude, the global star also found a few words for her followers on the last evening before she left the stage: “This tour was the adventure of my life,” assured Swift. “We will never forget that you gave us this moment.”
