Kenneth Taylor was in the press room of Ajax after the match against Go Ahead Eagles. The midfielder was one of the better players on the field, but the team from Amsterdam eventually drew 1-1.
Taylor was clear after the draw: “I think you’re just obliged to win against Go Ahead Eagles”. Alfred Schreuder agrees with Taylor, he also thinks that Ajax should beat the Eagles at home. “If you look purely at the result, it is a bad result”. He therefore did not expect the equalizer of the Deventers in the second half.

AZ is now at the top of the Eredivisie with twenty points. Ajax has one point less and is second to PSV, which is on eighteen points. Feyenoord will play against NEC tomorrow and can equalize with Ajax with a win.
There is not much time to evaluate yesterday’s draw. Next Tuesday Ajax will have to compete at home in the Johan Cruijff Arena against Napoli in the Champions League. Kick-off is 9:00 PM.
