Tero Kyllönen, Yle
When Susanne Agte with his family, he once became ill after moving, doubts arose as to whether everything was in order in the family home. The strange symptoms plagued the family, and the alarm bells began to ring at a point when the symptoms did not seem to be relieving at the normal rate.
– For some strange reason, those flu didn’t go away. Then came a strange other symptom that is not directly related to the flu: in the morning, when you woke up, there was blood on the pillow and shortness of breath and that kind of brain fog and rash, Susanne says in Acute.
– There came a feeling at a very early stage that those symptoms worsen when we are at home.
Mold was finally found in the home. As the family moved out of the house, the children began to recover from the symptoms. However, Agte’s own health showed no signs that she was recovering.
When Susanne Agte fell ill due to mold problems at her family’s home, she didn’t know what kind of battle would be ahead. Although a new home was quickly found, and the rest of the family recovered, his health problems did not ease. In the acute program, Agte tells her story, which eventually got a happy ending with mental coaching.
– On the contrary, I only got those symptoms worse, Agte says.
Agte’s body ached, she had difficulty breathing, dizziness, itchy scalp and hair loss. She also suffered from stomach problems and chest pain. He eventually sought help from the situation, including the fact that the family gave up all sorts of perfumes in their daily lives.
– It was the starting point for everything. If I had to go somewhere and plan my life, it scared me how I would react. Life was very small.
No help was found at the doctor’s office for the strange symptoms.
– I was examined from head to toe. At some point, it went so far as to wish something had been found. I would have gotten an explanation, a name, and a diagnosis for this strange disease, but nothing was ever found, Agte sighs in the program.
When no help was found from the doctor, he decided to resort to mental coaching. In two years of training, he learned to calm himself, and the symptoms disappeared.
– It’s a little hard to believe myself, but it didn’t take an awful many weeks or months when I was almost completely healthy.
Today, Agte’s daily life is similar to that before he became ill.

– I live a normal life today. I don’t have to limit my life in any way. I have flowers, I use perfume and I travel. Life is normal again, and this is a pretty big deal for me, Agte says in Acute.
