The KNMI warns for strong thunderstorms in the north and (south) east of the country for Sunday evening.
Code yellow will be in force for North Brabant and Limburg from 6 p.m. on Sunday, and from 8 p.m. for Gelderland, Overijssel, Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen.
With the thunderstorms there is a chance of hail, gusts of wind and a lot of rain can fall in a short time, resulting in local flooding, the weather institute reports. Traffic and outdoor activities may be affected.
The weather warning applies to North Brabant and Limburg until midnight on Sunday, in Overijssel, Gelderland, Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen, the warning is in force until 07:00 on Monday.
