Medipol Başakşehir’s striker Stefano Okaka was chosen as the player of the week in the UEFA Conference League.
In the fourth match of UEFA Conference League Group A, Başakşehir defeated the Latvian representative RFS 3-0 at home. The goals of the orange-dark blue team were scored by Deniz Türç in the 11th minute and Okaka in the 45th and 72nd minutes. With his performance, the Italian football player was selected as the most valuable player of the fourth week in the European Conference League as a result of the voting made by UEFA.
The 33-year-old football player beat Fiorentina’s Gonzalez, Djurgarden’s Wikheim and FCSB’s Jorgensen in the voting.
