Brakel, who has been working for the company since last year, will “work closely with the Assortment, Supply Chain, Quality Management and Marketing departments” in his new role and “ensure further growth impetus in the direct-to-consumer business”. it in a message.
“Building on the current macro trends of individualization and digitization, Brakel sees expanding the range with modern, sustainably produced fashion items as a high priority,” explained the Spread Group. In a statement, the new CCO outlined future projects: “Investments in research and development will be significantly expanded in the coming months. Brakel has many years of management experience with well-known e-commerce providers. Before moving to Leipzig, he was Chief Digital Officer at Central Group Europe, which includes well-known retailers such as the KaDeWe Group and Rinascente.
