After it was reported this morning that a 17-year-old was arrested for a robbery at a snack bar in Alkmaar yesterday afternoon, the police also arrested a 14-year-old today for possible involvement.
The two are said to have robbed Bobby Snacks on the Kanaaldijk in broad daylight yesterday afternoon. According to the owners’ son, who spoke to NH News yesterday, the two threatened his mother with a knife and then ran off with money from the cash drawer.
It is not the first time that the snack bar has been robbed: the son said that this has happened a few times in the past. It had been ‘quiet’ for a relatively long time now.
