Robert builds castle Boezinge completely after

The castle of the de Thibault de Boezinge family has more than ten bedrooms, several bathrooms, kitchens, lounges and a hall. Robert Bossu built it brick by brick down to the smallest detail. The castle dates back to 1780, but then there was no roof. A roof was only put on it in 1904, but in 1915 it was gone again due to bombing. After that, the castle was rebuilt and is now for sale.

Work accurately

Robert went by it twice and searched archives and photographs to see how he could replicate it to scale. “The challenge is to work accurately. Not like: ‘it will be good’. Measuring, calculating and double-checking, that is the challenge.” The entire interior has also been recreated.

Meanwhile, Robert is working on the next project. In a few years he wants to have the former castle of Hooglede ready.
