In Italy 88% of the goods transported every day travel by road. And this translates into a figure of 153 billion tonnes of goods per kilometrevalue obtained by multiplying the volumes of goods moved and the kilometers traveled by trucks, to represent the amount of goods transported in our country. At a European level, however, the figure reaches 1,869 billion tons of goods per kilometre: theimportance that these asphalt giants play, not only on a strictly economic level, reliably and punctually moving enormous quantities of goods destined to end up in companies, commercial establishments and even in our homes.
