Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams will be without Matthew Stafford until the end of the year.
The team from the US football professional league NFL has put the quarterback on the so-called injured reserve list, so Stafford will miss at least four games. He shouldn’t be back in the LA Chargers game until January 1st.
Stafford had already missed the game with the Kansas City Chiefs (10:26) due to a neck injury. The Rams have lost five games in a row and are bottom in the NFC West with just three wins and eight losses.
In mid-November, the club had already put Cooper Kupp on the IR list. The wide receiver, MVP in the Super Bowl earlier this year, had to undergo surgery after a syndesmosis tear.
