Rammstein are still in the top 100 with six albums – but there is a downward trend.
The brief chart hype surrounding Rammstein seems to be abating again. The album charts for the week show that four of the band’s albums are on the decline. Only one continues to experience an uptrend. Last week there had been a few returns.
Rammstein still in the top 100 album charts
After the latest album “Zeit” experienced an upswing last week and even climbed to number ten, this week (June 23) it’s only enough for number 14. Rammstein’s self-titled album also slips – from number 20 up 25. The album “Mutter” fell particularly low, having reached number 25 in the previous week. Here it is only enough for place 39. The same goes for “Love is for everyone”, which falls from 57 to 72.
Things are going a little better for “Reise, Reise” from 2004, which managed to make a comeback last week. It remains at number 55. “Herzeleid” is now the only Rammstein album to continue climbing the charts. The debut album from 1995 battles its way from number 90 to number 79 this week.
Rammstein tour continues
Even if interest in Rammstein’s album discography has cooled off noticeably, the result means that six of the band’s eight studio albums are currently in the top 100 album charts – given the allegations against Till Lindemann this is an amazing result. Rammstein are still on Stadium Tour of Europe. Today (June 23rd) the band performs at the Spanish Madrid on. There are also three concerts in Berlin. The Alliance “No Rammstein in Berlin” however, has said it intends to protest the shows.
