Despite the current allegations, Rammstein stuck to their tour schedule and played four shows in Munich. The band celebrated themselves for this in a post on Instagram – you can see the band members, but also the enthusiastic fans, who were not deterred by the protests in front of the venue.
Rammstein: A “thank you” to the fans
The post shows several images in black and white, including Till Lindemann with pyro rays and Paul Landers and Richard Z. Kruspe hugging each other. The photo of a child beaming with joy also made it into the slide show. The photos suggest to the viewer: the band sticks together and the fans, large or small, stand united behind them. “Four times Munich – thank you!” It says about the photos, which may also have had the purpose of counteracting the negative reporting of the past few days.
You can’t believe their gratitude – after all, drummer Christoph Schneider even burst into tears at the end of a Munich concert as the fans cheered.
