Hay bales also on fire along A2, A7, A28, A50 and provincial roads
BREAK – Hay bales are on fire along the A2 near Breukelen, Rijkswaterstaat announced on Wednesday evening. “Because the roadside and surrounding greenery are currently very dry, the fire service is not taking any risks and extinguishing may take longer.” Hay bales were also set on fire in other places, including on the A1 near Kootwijk, the A7 at Drachten, the A28 at Rogat, the A50 at Apeldoorn and several provincial roads.
