On Sunday evening, around 9 p.m., there was a serious accident on Danziger Strasse near Knaackstrasse in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.

The driver of a Toyota hit a pedestrian who was thrown against the windshield by the impact.

The seriously injured remained lying on the road and was given first aid on site by an emergency doctor and paramedics and then transported to a hospital.

According to initial findings and witness statements, the pedestrian is said to have run across the roadway without paying attention to the traffic. According to BZ information, a vehicle that followed the accident car filmed the accident with a dashcam and announced to the investigators that they would provide information about the course of the accident. The police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
