Trainer Christophe Galtier is not commenting on the decision of the Paris Saint-Germain management to suspend Lionel Messi (35) for the time being. The star from Argentina skipped training without permission on Monday and traveled to Saudi Arabia for promotional work.
“I have been informed by the management,” Galtier said during a press conference ahead of Sunday’s game against Troyes. ,,But I also immediately decided to refrain from commenting. I am also only an employee of this club.”
Paris Saint-Germain do not want to confirm that Messi has been suspended for two weeks. Galtier does not know whether he can still rely on the Argentinian this season. “We will see what happens and if Messi comes back. Of course there are conversations. Also with Messi himself.”
