The former Juventus full-back talks about one of the best goals from the historic number 10: “He wanted the assist, then he did a marvel. And that victory launched us towards the Scudetto. I would never have left”
In nature the double rainbow exists, even if it is rare: the brighter one is called primary, the weaker one is called secondary. Thirty years and nineteen days have passed since the afternoon when the double rainbow appeared at the Delle Alpi stadium. On 4 December 1994 Alessandro Del Piero scored probably his best goal by painting a volley against Fiorentina: as colorful and spectacular as a rainbow, in fact. A historic goal in terms of quality, moment of the match (87′ of a match that Juve lost 0-2 at half-time and with that feat won 3-2) and importance: Lippi’s Bianconeri, who had beaten Milan a few weeks earlier tricolore, they developed the awareness of being able to fight for the title after many years and opened a glorious cycle made up of three scudetti, a Champions League, four European finals and an Italian Cup in the space of four seasons.
