Novak Djokovic advanced to the Wimbledon men’s singles final Nick Kyrgios as a result.
Djokovic beat the British player in the semifinals on Friday Cameron Norrie 3–1 (2–6, 6–3, 6–2, 6–4).
Kyrgios advanced to the final with a layoff win. Semi-final opponent Rafael Nadal announced on Thursday that he would leave the game due to an abdominal muscle injury.
They will meet in the women’s final on Saturday Yelena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur. The men’s final is on Sunday.
