Russia invaded Ukraine in February this year. Because of the violence of war, the Netherlands receives refugees. According to the municipality of Beesel, 53 people are currently staying at the three municipal reception locations. With the new location added, Beesel therefore has shelters for a maximum of 85 refugees. In addition, 25 Ukrainians are taken care of, spread over 14 private addresses.
