The Transfermarkt database has been enriched by a competition – again in Southeast Asia. A new addition is the AFF U19 Youth Championship, which has been held regularly by the Southeast Asian Football Association since 2002. The 18th edition begins today with the game between Myanmar U19s and Brunei U19s in host country Indonesia. Record winners are Thailand and Australia with five titles each. The Laos U19 national team is managed by German coach Michael Weiss, who is also in charge of the men’s team.
