Natour criterium brings van Aert to Roeselare

As in previous years, with the exception of 2020, the Natour criterium will take place in Roeselare after the Tour de France on Tuesday 26 July. The heroes of the most famous cycling race in the world then parade through the city center on a local lap.

Wout van Aert has already won two stages in the Tour and after a few stages in the first week exchanged his yellow jersey for the green one, which he has not given up since. Most likely, the Kempenaar will start in Roeselare as the overall winner in the points classification. It is certain that his name will do the event no harm. With the first yellow jersey wearer of this Tour, Yves Lampaert from Ingelmunster, also on the start list, the Natour criterium has a strong poster.

Last year, the organization presented the green jersey of the then Deceuninck-Quick-Step, Mark Cavendish. In previous editions Chris Froome and Egan Bernal drove past the audience in their yellow jerseys.
