Napapijri Circular Series

The fashion world has a problem: waste. Napapijri has a solution: Circular Series. This isn’t just a story. It is the story of Napapijri’s commitment to shaping the future of circular fashion by reimagining the clothing lifecycle.

Napapijri have redefined the circular by creating the Circular Series from ECONYL® regenerated nylon and Nylon 6. In this way they have created a cycle in which clothing can be infinitely recycled and redesigned. Thanks to the online take-back program of the ECONYL® regeneration system, circular models can be returned after two years and recycled into new yarn and new products.

The Circular Series includes a fully recyclable, ultralight version of the women’s Circular Skidoo, the men’s Circular Parka, and a unisex version of the Circular Anorak. It also includes accessories in the form of the Circular Beanie.

As part of Copenhagen Fashion Week in August, the Lifestyle & Design Cluster is building an exhibition focused on circular design. The main aim of the exhibition is to show the best examples of circular design. The aim here is to educate both the industry and the public about what circular economy means and how different brands integrate the principles of circular economy into their work.

Paolo Pezzini, Napapijri’s Senior Raw Material Manager, will give a talk on August 11 (at 3:00 p.m.) on the topic “Born Circular Vs Going Circular”. In this talk, the brands born with a circular model will be paired with brands exploring circular initiatives towards a circular model. Both sides face problems and great potential.

The talk will be broadcast live on CIFF.DK.

    About Napapijri

Napapijri was founded in 1987 near Mont Blanc as a manufacturer of holdalls made from waxed cotton canvas. Cotton canvas is a high-quality fabric that was developed based on the experience of polar explorers. With a pioneering spirit and a distinct Italian sense of style, the iconic synergy of fashion and function that is at the heart of Napapijri’s DNA has been brought to life. Since then, Napapijri has evolved into a clothing brand whose iconic outdoor fashion is built on this very synergy, expressed today through their commitment to original designs, commitment to sustainability and quest for innovation.
