Wendy van Dijk receives support from Johan Derksen now that the gloating about her low ratings continues. “A Marc-Marie Huijbregts who laughs at her bad scores? What a l*l.”
Wendy van Dijk’s status as an A-star is under serious pressure now that almost all her TV programs are flopping. Her current studio show Liedje Op Het Eerste Vlieg is also a real ratings drama and that led to an alarming headline on the cover of Weekend: ‘DRAMA for Wendy: career on the dead end?’
gloating
Marc-Marie Huijbregts and his colleague Aaf Brandt Corstius have to chuckle about it in their podcast and they are now facing fierce criticism from Johan Derksen. He finds this kind of gloating among colleagues from the profession distasteful.
Presenter Wilfred Genee pointed it out last night in De Oranjewinter: “As spokesperson for John de Mol, you wanted to take it up for Wendy van Dijk, finally.”
Bad taste
Johan explodes at that. “Well, look, I don’t know Wendy van Dijk. I met her once in the hallway here and she ignored me completely, but we must have said some snide things about her. She is the wife of Erland, one of the big bosses. But I see and feel a kind of gloating.”
He continues: “Her programs don’t seem to score that well and now it turns out that the whole of the Netherlands, at least our little world, hates Wendy van Dijk and I always get a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when people start making jokes about it with glee. .”
spring chicken
Then Johan gives a sneer to Marc-Marie Huijbregts, who is invariably referred to as ‘Speech’ by the VI trio. “Especially Spring Chicken had to laugh out loud in such a k * t podcast at the fact that Wendy van Dijk has bad grades. Then I think: if you can enjoy that, then you are an l*l.”
René van der Gijp: “But we already knew that.”
Johan to Wilfred: “You may know her a little better, but what does the whole world have against Wendy van Dijk? That person has never wronged me.”
Erland Galjaard
Wilfred: “But in the past you always said: ‘Wendy van Dijk is only allowed on TV because she is with Erland.’”
Johan: “Well, that certainly helped. She had all the big shows and it must have helped that she did her best in bed, but of course it is true: that person has also made very good shows and now it is a bit disappointing…”
René: “Which one?”
Wilfred: “She has always presented The Voice, hasn’t she?”
Invitation
Johan: “And she was dressed up as a Japanese girl. That was nice too. I don’t understand why this person has to be killed like this. We can ensure that she is once again in a program that people watch, then we put her in Job’s place.”
René: “Then we are going to invite Wendy van Dijk now? It’s nice, dude.”
