It seems that Marc-Marie Huijbregts has little sympathy for Wendy van Dijk. He has to laugh a lot at a pretty damning headline about the presenter.
It’s no secret that Wendy van Dijk is no longer the big television star she was during her years with The Voice of Holland. After her transfer to SBS 6, the presenter has seen her career collapse like a plum pudding and she is also currently on the tube with a big flop, namely Song On The First Face.

According to gossip magazine Weekend, there is no saving anymore. “With a whole series of flopped programs to her name, the question is whether Wendy is still such a big TV star,” said the show medium.
The headline on the cover of the magazine? ‘DRAMA for Wendy: career dead end?’ Pretty damning, but still Marc-Marie has to be there laugh heartily in the latest episode of his podcast.

Co-host Aaf Brandt Corstius sees the Weekend on the table at a certain point. “I see Wendy van Dijk.”
Marc-Marie laughing: “Yes, I believe Wendy van Dijk has a dead end career. haha.”
Aaf: “Hahaha, well that’s what it says there. I think there is a question mark behind it.”
Marc-Marie: “Someone can also push that career, but hey. Apparently it has a program that no one watches, but I don’t know because I don’t watch it. Hahaha.”
“No idea what she’s doing!”
Aaf then makes it very clear that she has never heard of Wendy’s current show Liedje Op Het Eerste Vlieg. “I don’t even know what it is to be honest.”
Marc-Marie also has no idea what Wendy is doing. “No me neither! I don’t know what program she is presenting!”
It is not the first time that Aaf and Marc-Marie laugh at Wendy van Dijk. They also had fun in the spring about the plan to send her to the Polish-Ukrainian border.
