It’s funny when people talk about hate speech here again. Both sides are innocent until the other side is convicted. If Antony is guilty then everything is clear anyway. However, if he has become the victim of a false statement, then the opposing party does not have to fear such consequences. Or how do you then judge (potential) character assassination in court?
Wrong, the incitement consists in claiming – in the form of a lie – that the legal system would not prosecute Group X. And of course a proven false accusation would be punishable.
If you always hear that asylum seekers, for example, would never be punished for any crimes, this is a claim that is made to incite incitement. You want to manipulate people emotionally. Of course, this is not the truth. And if you always hear in such cases that the women would never be punished for false accusations, then this is an inflammatory statement.
There have been various studies and research that have proven that women are actually treated differently by the legal system. As a man, you basically can’t win in the family court, not even here (I was even able to experience this live with evidence from a friend, including tape recordings where state officials suggest illegal things).
Appearance also plays a role (for men and women). The better you look, the less punishment:

Amber Heard lied in court dozens of times, was fined 5 million and paid 1(!).
There are so many cases, especially in the USA, think of the German student and the girl with the mattress at university. He was also innocent and yet his academic career was ruined.
I think it’s bad that this does a disservice to the real victims. I’m also more cautious about believing the victim straight away.
A date also wanted to blackmail me because I didn’t want to see her anymore with “Give me money or I’ll go to the police and report you as a rapist!”
Not all claims are untrue or inflammatory, even if they may not fit into your own worldview. And anyone who immediately calls out AfD or something else seems – with all due respect – to be extremely ideologically blind and intolerant.
Anyone who is currently looking into the hiring processes of companies, especially in the USA, can see that both men and women hardly want to hire women anymore, or far fewer women, thanks to #metoo. It is simply far too easy to sue a company even if nothing has happened.
Hopefully the feminists will take care of this instead of always complaining about toxic men, because these false accusations are not good for anyone.
But Manchester really seems to have a talent for picking the right people. Pretty unfortunate.
