After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the town of Calvià will once again be the scene of the Mallorca Live Festival this summer. Across genres, local artists perform alongside headliners Christina Aguilera, Muse, Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, C. Tangana, Milky Chance, Justice, Metronomy and The Blessed Madonna in front of 76,000 fans.
The festival takes place in Aquapark Antiguo. This is located near the beach and offers the participants a view of the Mallorcan mountains. Visitors can expect a “colorful mix of indie, rock, electronic and hip hop”.
The festival took place for the first time in 2016 and since then “because of the top-class and at the same time cross-genre line up and the really beautiful location, it has blossomed into an extremely popular and respected festival”. Most recently, Nina Kraviz, Primal Scream, The Prodigy, The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club, among others, rocked the stage on the Balearic Islands.
The Mallorca Live Festival is supported by both state and private institutions. Tickets are already available on the siteprices start at 59 euros.
