With purchase option
After two years at Stade Brest 29, Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel will also play in Ligue 1 for the coming season. The 24-year-old is moving from 1. FSV Mainz 05 to RC Straßburg Alsace on a one-year loan basis, who also secured a purchase option. The right-back is still under contract with the “zero fives” until 2024.
“I am very happy to switch to Racing. It’s a club with a great history, important values and a passionate audience. Strasbourg is a stronghold of French football. I really enjoyed the discussions with the club management. There are really nice things to achieve here,” said Pierre-Gabriel, who made 62 appearances (one goal) for Stade Brest in two years.
